Privacy Notice

SiteCare by AfterTone is a service and brand operated by AfterTone LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company (“SiteCare,” “AfterTone,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), 280 Wild Olive Dr., Columbia, SC 29229. This notice explains how we handle information submitted through SiteCare and during sales, project, and support work.

Information we collect and sources

We collect information you provide, including name, business name and role, business contact details, public website or profile URLs, project needs, scheduling details, communications, intake materials, approvals, contract and billing status, content and access instructions, and support requests. We may collect ordinary technical and security records such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, requested pages, referral information, security events, and form-submission metadata. We may use public business information to prepare a private concept or contact a business. Payment-card data is processed by Stripe or another disclosed payment provider and must not be submitted through the public request form.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries; schedule and present demonstrations; prepare concepts, proposals, scopes, and websites; verify authority and content rights; provide support and maintenance; route client website submissions; process and reconcile transactions; secure the service; prevent fraud or abuse; enforce agreements; and comply with law. Submitting a request authorizes a response about that request; it is not consent to recurring marketing texts.

Client website data

When SiteCare hosts or supports a client's website form, the client generally determines the purpose and use of the submitted information and SiteCare processes it as a service provider. Privacy requests about that information should normally be sent to the client first; we will assist the client as required by contract or law.

Service providers and disclosures

Providers supporting hosting, databases, forms, security, communications, scheduling, file storage, analytics, electronic signatures, accounting, and payments may process information only as reasonably needed for their role. We may also disclose information to professional advisers; to a client for whom we process a website submission; when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, systems, or users; or in a merger, financing, sale, or reorganization subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice.

No sale, data brokering, or cross-client marketing

AfterTone does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not operate as a data broker or use one client's identifiable customer or prospect information to market AfterTone, benefit another client, or generate leads for another client. Processing by contracted providers solely for SiteCare is not a sale.

Cookies and tracking

The SiteCare site currently uses essential storage, server logs, and limited measurement or security technology needed to operate and understand the service. It does not use SiteCare request information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If we add advertising pixels, nonessential cookies, or materially different analytics, we will update this notice and use any notice or consent mechanism required by applicable law.

Retention and secure disposal

We retain each category only for as long as reasonably necessary for the inquiry, project, support, contract, accounting, security, dispute, legal-hold, or legal purpose for which it is maintained. Timing varies by record type, client instruction, and provider lifecycle. When information is no longer required, we delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it so covered personal information is unreadable or unusable, subject to ordinary backup and provider deletion cycles.

Security and incidents

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed for the nature of the information, including access controls, encrypted transport, application-level restrictions, credential protections, and security records. No transmission or storage system is completely secure. If an incident triggers a notification duty, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.

Your choices and requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you submitted by contacting us. We evaluate requests under applicable law and may retain information needed for contracts, security, fraud prevention, accounting, opt-out suppression, legal holds, or disputes. Promotional email includes a way to opt out, and clear opt-out requests are honored. Service and transactional communications may remain necessary during an active relationship.

Children, sensitive information, and third parties

SiteCare is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit passwords, access keys, payment-card data, government identifiers, protected health information, confidential customer lists, or other sensitive personal information through the public form. Third-party links and independent services are governed by their own policies.

Changes and contact

We may update this notice and will post a revised effective date. Material changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to [email protected], by phone at 803-638-3481, or by mail to AfterTone LLC, operating SiteCare by AfterTone, 280 Wild Olive Dr., Columbia, SC 29229.
